Piano and Cello Teacher
Daniel is an experienced teacher of piano cello and music theory. He currently teaches in South Manchester/Stockport, specifically Cheadle Hulme, Didsbury, Chorlton, Levenshulme and online.
He acheived distinction at both Grade 8 cello and piano before completing a Bachelors with Honours from the Royal Northern College of Music.
Pupils can learn both cello and piano from beginner level all the way to diploma. Over a decade of teaching he has developed his own curricula which are tailored to meet the requirements of different ages, levels and learning styles whilst also fulfilling key musical developmental areas:
- Healthy and Effective Technique
- Musical Expression/Ear Training/’Musicianship’
- Reading and Music Theory
Daniel’s approach is flexible and suited to the needs or wants of the learner. Pupils can enter for ABRSM or Trinity exams and can received support for GCSE or A-Level Music exam preparation. Pupils have won musical scholarships to selective schools, and some have gone on to study music at higher education.

Daniel works in a number of ‘outstanding’ schools. He is safeguarding and SEN trained, and holds an enhanced DBS certificate. He is a member of the European Piano Teachers’ Association and the Independent Society of Musicians.
